The National Wildflower Centre, Liverpool, Cob and Timber Seating Area with Cob Oven and Growing Area, 2015/2016

As part of a their ‘Health Hub’ project the ‘Get Growing’ area is now home to a sculpted cob oven and seating area with raised beds bordered by decorative timber fencing and gates. During two weekend workshops volunteers and members of the local community helped build the cob parts of the oven and seating and they now enjoy creating culinary delights to cook in the oven as part of celebratory events held at the centre.
